28. POST A PHOTO PLEASE -- here's how

this is how i post photos

1. i save the picture in a file on my computer

2. go to https://imgur.com/

3. near the top is the word imgur & next to it is a small green box with a + sign. click on that

4. it takes me to a page that gives me the option to drop photo here (but i don't know how to do that). it also gives me the option to choose photo/video. i click on choose photo/video

5. for me it opens a file on my desktop. i look for the photo i've previously uploaded to that file, and click on the photo and click "open"

6. the picture opens on the imgur page. on the top right of my photo it says "copy link" but i click on the three dots next to that.

7. there is a little drop down menu ("edit image" "get share links" "download image&quot . click on "get share links"

8. another menu opens that gives you 4 options. the third one says "BBCODE (FORUMS)" & that's the one you want. click on the green square that says COPY LINK.

9. now you've got that link copied. come back to DU and paste the link. i did a picture of a clock (it's 5 o'clock somewhere).
you'll see brackets before and after the link with the word "img" and you can backspace over those brackets so they won't show in your photo. or you can just leave it and post the entire link. if you post the link with the brackets here is what it will look like: (and we'd love to see a photo of your beloved Baast. i'm am so sorry you are going thru this heartbreaking loss.
