Why can’t vets come up with a better way to give cats medicine? Infused salmon treats? Infused freeze dried chicken? Chicken flavored drops? There just has to be a better way. Or, just a one shot injection?
At one point my vet told us our cat had allergies that were causing her eyes to weep. The suggestion was a portion of a Zyrtec everyday. EVERYDAY? FOREVER?
No way. I did it twice. Now we just occasionally wipe the eyes. We just gave up. She’s really fast. NOT compliant at all. It was never going to happen.
I did have a Persian cat that had to have to have prednisone everyday. We finally got really skilled at the burrito. But, it was always pure hell. And, she was a very easy going, laid -back cat. The one I have now
Is an escape artist. A Zyrtec everyday was just not going to happen!
