Known to 'follow' by leading too closely, threating to cause a two legged trip at every step, and having demands in the middle of the night.

Amazing how fast I wake up at 3 am when I get patted on the face with a cat foot, claws extended.

Usually an urgent need for food, or needs a visit to the cold outside to do toilet business or scan for enemies.

But he is learning slowly, gentle no claw face pats now.

My 3 am screams may have alerted him that the claws weren't really needed?
