2. Although not real sure, it doesn't sound like this is Pedigree's fault...

at least, that the stuff is out in the market. That was the fault of a 3rd party who was suppose to destroy the bad dog food. How did Pedigree's security and food quality checks let it get to the point they were canned and ready to be shipped tho? THAT is Pedigree's fault, IMO.

I just finished making my dog's meals for almost the full coming week. I'll need to do it again before I'm truly ready for it, but even doing this, it's cheaper... or at least, as expensive as, some of the cans of dog food I've seen... and I've not liked what I've seen on the labels. At its much less than what the Farmer's Dog sells for... for a dog Lexy's size. She's now about 160 pounds and stands waist high to me. Her tail is so strong, she can push me over with a single "whoosh!" And she now LOVES the new "Mama Cooking" that she's getting.

But at least I know what's going into my mix for Lexy... I love that dog to pieces. Enough, I dearly wish I could find her a family with young kids and a HUGE backyard (or a farm). Right now, she's stuck with two old timers. I feel sorry for her. But my cats chase her and love on her, so there is that! (LOL)
