Madoc tried to start up a football game, this morning. I think he wants to be the punter. [View all]
I keep two footballs on the mantel. Both were presented to my Dad - one for a championship season and one for the last game he coached before becoming athletic director for the school district.
This morning I heard a strange noise so I turned on the den light. BOTH footballs were on the floor, one all the way across the room, and Madoc was perched on the mantel, right beneath the picture of my Dad, with a very self satisfied look on his face.
Next thing you know he will be demanding we watch the Super Bowl. Sorry, Madoc, that's not going to happen.
