OK, I'm very confused about the kitten's mom

She came out of the nice blue shelter, followed by Merlin and Rhys!!?!? Tegan and Rhian are in the shelter. I was beginning to worry about them so I checked, much to the mom's displeasure. She never seemed at all stressed when I spent the afternoon rounding up her other babies and putting them back in the bed that was close to the shelter. And these kittens are healthy. Bronwyn has some eye discharge, but this morning it was almost non existent.

So why did she take in someone else's kittens but leave her own out, from about noon until almost 8? I already have a headache and this is making it worse. I'm MUCH rather she take care of her babies and use me as a back up.

Today is going to be interesting.
