Do you friends have a bird feeder? I'm having a real problem with this one that was given to me as a gift. [View all]

I hope this link brings up the picture.
This Swiss made feeder is a PITA. Very $$ and the holes that distribute the seed are too small to allow the seeds to enter the feeding tray.
The first bag of food I bought had big chunks of corn and whole peanuts. Would not go thru the holes. The next one has Safflower seeds and they block the holes also plus the rainproof claim is baloney.
I read the reviews and all the negative reviews mentioned the "too small" distribution holes.
Since it was a gift, I can't complain but I've checked about all the bird food suppliers and cannot find food that does not contain large pieces of food.
If you have ever faced this, do you have a suggestion about what food I can but that will flow thru these small distribution holes?
No way I can return it, and Amazon will not let me leave a review because I'm not a member or the buyer.
Help, this is costing me too much money. I need help!
The company is Swissinng Solutions AG, Their web page is swissinno.com. The feeder is titled Smart Birds and the feeder has a cap., 2 section hopper and a removable catch tray. Help before I go broke buying bird seed. Thanks
PR
