You did your loving best to save her and what a wonderful life she would've had with you and your crew. But it wasn't to be.

You saved her from passing on in the cold and dark never knowing the love you gave her. It was destined her last hours were with you, she wasn't hungry or cold, and she had love and caring.

As my grandmother would say, you earned another star in your crown.

Thank you for being the person you are.
