that the babies get abandoned. Sometimes they just get lost when mom is trying to move them, especially in bad weather. Mom gets spooked by something, or exhausted, or baby gets left behind somehow. There may not be a thing wrong with her. Or she may just be the runt of the litter and Mom moved the bigger ones first and then ran out of energy. Anything's possible. But with you taking care of her I'm pretty sure she's going to be okay. Maybe we should rename your house the Florence Kittenton Home, as we used to call a friend's house when she had litters of bottle baby kittens from the shelter.

My oldest cat was only unconscious, wet, with an umbilical cord still attached. Her nose, ears and paws were blue.
