Adopted a little sister for Bee today! [View all]
I stopped by the ASPCA on a whim after an appointment and it happened to be $20 Adoption Day! Ever since going back to work a month ago I've been thinking about another cat to keep Bee company while I'm gone. It's like my impulse stop was meant to be!
Here she is:
No name yet. Maybe Ophelia?
She's a year old, came in to the shelter as a pregnant stray and had her babies a few weeks ago (which is crazy- she's so small, only 5 lbs. Poor baby.) She's spayed now, and had all her shots. She's sweet as can be, super affectionate, looooves pets, especially ear rubs and chin rubs. She's very soft and shiny. She seems to be settling into the guest room very quickly!
Bee seems interested in meeting her but unfazed. He's a pretty laid back dude. Giving her some time to get settled and to feel safe and secure, and to sniff him under the door, before the big introduction happens. We'll go at her pace. 
More pics to come as I get good ones. She doesn't hold still for very long, lol!
