- Description. I colorized, fully restored, and crafted the sound design for this rare footage capturing Christmas in Detroit during the 1920s. Shows Voight Park, people walking down the sidewalk with mansions, on the right is East Ferry Street, residence of Charles Lang Freer, front Detroit Public Library, shop windows decorated for the holidays. 🪆 ⛸
Santa at his cabin busy preparing Christmas gifts, bringing the festive atmosphere of the era back to life. (16 mins).🧸
