1. A socialist Democrat..the horrors 😳 PBS had a really good documentary about her during their celebration

Of Women’s Month. Ms Perkins had to fight really hard back in those days as women had very little say in politics but she had the president’s wife, Eleanor Roosevelt, in her corner and I’m sure influenced her husband on a lot of issues. Some of those issues are still unresolved today.
