Should CNN bring back Chris Cuomo?

I was commenting on a CNN post on FB this morning and I was surprised how many people said they wouldn't watch CNN again until they brought back Chris Cuomo. I don't know if this was just social media babbling or serious. He was fired, in my view, for a very good reason -- going beyond his job as a journalist in helping out his brother Andrew Cuomo. It's my belief they had justification in terminating him. (Something, ironically, that if you saw the news stories about his firing on Rupert's tabloid trash dump channel that they never do. LOL.)

Just to refresh memories, here's CNN's statement on his firing:

“Chris Cuomo was suspended earlier this week pending further evaluation of new information that came to light about his involvement with his brother’s defense. We retained a respected law firm to conduct the review, and have terminated him, effective immediately.”

“While in the process of that review, additional information has come to light,” CNN’s statement added. “Despite the termination, we will investigate as appropriate.”
But I'm just curious how everyone here feels about it. “Chris Cuomo was suspended earlier this week pending further evaluation of new information that came to light about his involvement with his brother’s defense. Cuomo has since filed a lawsuit against CNN for "unlawful termination."
