My husband passed away in 2017 and the other set just a few years earlier. I told the kids right after my husband passed that I'd do all I can to be there for their h.s. graduations. My younger grandchild immediately asked, "What about when we graduate from college?" I have a ways to go.
I'm sorry for your loss. It isn't easy to keep going forward on your own. I like to think my husband is seeing it all from where he is
