and the swelling IS going down, slowly. I finally relented and bought a new (cheap) walker... but at least the two front wheels both face front on this one! (LOL)

I'm also using Aleve Roll on for the inflammation and Voltaren for the damage to the arthritis (not at the same time!). That's in addition to wrapping it, trying to stay off it as much as possible, and trying to work out how Vulcans repressed pain and emotions. This is a week now, and I can't be off the leg much longer. I ended up going to the grocery store today.. thank goodness for the little drive-around carts! But I'm also cooking supper tonight in order to have something good and healthful to eat.

I LOVE the brace they gave me at the ER... /snark. The darn thing, even if it goes OVER my knee falls far below my ankles. IOW, besides being a woman I'm also a *very* short person... things aren't made for me! (LOL)

I've got another court date for hubby, and wanted to see what the $$$ were for his last hospital stay... and I was hoping to get that over with before going to an ortho. But the throbbing, pulsing, creeping pain I feel may k-o that idea!
