In my opinion there is a lot of fear-mongering around AI.
I can recommend a video which I think is on the mark. It is with Yanis Varoufakis, who I think is one of the most intelligent people on the planet. He has a book titled "Technofeudalism: What Killed Capitalism?"
There are a couple of videos that I find enlightening and scary as hell. Scary not because someone is trying to get my attention, or get a click, by screaming; these are somber people....

- "How technofedalism killed capitalism"
and

"Capitalism is over | Yanis Varoufakis on digital dictators and techno-feudal economics"
