9. Interesting. Black folk and Native Americans certainly weren't the only people mistreated when they came to.....

......this country. My own Slovene forebears, grandfather and uncle, came to the new world as indentured servants to work in Brazil on sugar cane plantations. Slavery was a better description of their situation and they escaped through the swamps to get out of it.
