I got waylaid by book club selections, which are not fiction.

For my local Liberal Ladies Who Lunch book club we read Raising Hare, which is a lovely story of a woman who is holed up in rural England during the Pandemic and finds a tiny baby hare, which she takes in to hopefully save. I managed to get half (!) through it by last Saturday. It is an actual book, not an ebook so I don't have the backlit screen, the adjustablel font and the little easel that the case makes.

I also participate in Frangela's book club, the current book is Rachel Maddow's Prequel. I like the way they do this; it is a Zoom call every two weeks, and we only read 2 chapters at a time. Sometime toward the end of the book, they put up a poll to choose the next book. It is fun.

OK for fiction: I am still in Mobile with all the ghosts in The Seven Sisters Plantation House, and have reached the last book in the series. However she has several more books about other haunted places in Mobile.
