17. Murder on the Marlow Belle by Robert Thorogood

This is the fourth in the series of puzzled murders in Marlow (a real place) where three friends are helping the police.

Here a group of friends associated with the local amateur theatre have hired a boat for a short tour but when one of them never arrives on shore. Later found with bullets in his body.

Who committed the crime?

One problem. The DI who was helped by the three ladies is now on suspension for using civilians as help so any investigation has to be clandestine.

Thorogood is the creator of the Death in Paradise TV series so is good in telling a story.
