My tears fall down to the top of my mask
They don’t make a sound, and I ask
Am I able to do this?
No one will see my smile.
I take a deep breath to test my seal
Then slowly release as I gently feel
Have I put my mask on right?
I think this will work.
I look over to my cats and they stare
They won’t die from a whiff of air
Should I put gloves on?
I am thirsty.
