Since the replacement was under the warranty and there was no charge I can see the original warranty period would be applied. I had a battery from Batteries Plus that died after 2 years. They replaced the battery with a new one but charged me a fee, something like $54.00 and the replacement battery had a new full 3-year warranty. Was worth it in my book since the full price of the new battery would have been about $250.
