I was keep off the bike Saturday until this afternoon Monday by 9 inches of rain. The rain has mostly stopped in our area so I kitted up and hit the road. It was a lot of fun with gusty winds mostly sideways. The bike and I did dance steps but I was able to hold a pretty good line. I felt good to get back in the saddle.
While I was having fun in the wind my neighbors to the south are covered up in water, mud and sludge. It is heart rending.
