or rather one electric bike and one electric trike.

For the bike I used an economy 250W "hilltopper". It's an excellent front hub motor and I'm very happy with it. It comes complete with motor and battery.

For the trike, a Schwinn Meridian, with a heavy homemade cargo box on the back, I used the more powerful "AW" 1000W front hub from Amazon. I'm also very happy with that. It does NOT come with the battery so you would need a separate battery. It has great acceleration, and has a top speed of 20 MPH, which on my trike is scary fast. I usually make my grocery store trips at 12 to 14 MPH, and that's plenty for me.
