The only restrictions I saw was at some big temples where it was the usual religious stuff like you had to take your shoes off and cover your shoulders, but absolutely no restrictions on women at all. If they turned down the heat a bit, I'd go back again. It's a beautiful country full of people who drive like absolute maniacs.
