The unfortunate reality with many kidnappings is that the person taken is usually killed within hours of being taken. In this particular case, there was evidence of a bloody struggle in the house and the forensics team was called out almost immediately. Last i heard, investigators were looking at a particular area outside of where Mrs. Guthrie lived, including structures, and that life flight had been dispatched.
