Eclipse conspiracies. Nothing specific. [View all]
Some conspiracy theories are at least inventive. They propose that some magical energy will be generated and sap the essence from our cells. Or something. For example, chemtrails are supposed to create an effect that weakens us and disables our free will. To counteract this, we are supposed to fashion "orgone generators"from PVC pipe and place them on rooftops. Or maybe I have that backward. Maybe the orgone is the bad stuff and the PVC pipe thingies suck it up. The point is, the Chem trail conspiracy theory includes specific information on the evil effect, what causes it, and what to do about it. The eclipse conspiracy theories seem to be lacking in specific detail. All we know is that something is happening and it's bad, with little detail on cause and effect. I'm kind of bummed because I take some pleasure in reading the complete misunderstanding of science included in theories about chemtrails, weather radar, HAARP, and so on. Too bad we don't have an eclipse every year, so the conspiracy theories could be fleshed out a little.
