I have two radar images side by side: the one you were kind enough to post a link to, and the greater Phoenix area where it is monsoon season. Our radar is supposed to look like DC or worse, and it has in prior years. But frankly, ours pales in comparison to what's happening in Maryland today.

Hope everyone out in that weather gets to a safe location. I wouldn't go out into that unless it was for an emergency.
