It was 55 years ago today we were married [View all]
My husband passed away 9 years ago, but I observe this special date and feel especially close to him. Easy to think of him, too, because we were traveling. I've been visting our daughter and s-i-l this week and we drove from their home to Maine, for the celebration of life for another loved one. I don't think anyone will notice, or mind if they do that I am subdued. Fits right in with the general mood.
All of us who post here are in a club we didn't want to join.
