Bereavement
In reply to the discussion: My older sister died 20 years ago today. [View all]Jarqui
(10,922 posts)22. Reminded me of my older sister
who was and thankfully still is more like a mother to all of my siblings.
She sat in the front row of a Beatles concert ... but couldn't hear them.
We did not have as tough a time growing up - though it had its challenges.
But she's always been there for all of us and still is.
We've been very blessed to have such a person our entire lives.

Thank you. I always think of my sister, especially when I hear Twist and Shout sung by the Beatles.

Thank you, she did bring warmth to me. I light a candle for her every year, a little warmth.

Thank you. Yes she was. Second born, first daughter, she was a real mom to me and my three younger siblings.

Thank you. I don't think anybody could hear the Beatles at a Beatles concert, but it was fun and a wonderful memory.
