What does breed this level of assholedom? One of my biggest forms of old-fogeyism is that I just cannot believe the level to which misogyny has sunk in this country. As much as we guys wanted to get laid then, even the worst would never have come out with this kind of crap. I'm thinking elitism and entitlement must play a role, and the contempt they engender. They really do seem to get off on humiliation, anyway -- real or fantasized.
