The chairs are comfy, it is warm or cool depending on the season (and for many that is VERY important), the activity in the building life affirming. Plus there is something about holding an actual newspaper in your hands - just something about newsprint.

I think the WaPo lets me "gift" six articles per month, maybe eight. I can't recall.
