The cost putting out that many police every night must be staggering and then the next night protesters return angrier than the night before. About the only thing left is open war which is something no one will win. After more than a week it should be clear to everyone that an 18 year was murdered by a Ferguson Policeman in a fit of rage. Law and Order cannot be maintained by an army of occupiers in neighborhoods they are foreign. American history should prove that from days of the Boston Massacre, Hessian troops, Southern Carpetbaggers, labor strikes, Bonus Marches veteran unrest, Civil Rights, war protests etc.. coercion is temporary and in the long term does not work. The powers that be know how to stop this and need to do it now before people get wise to the real source of their misery. If Ferguson is some sort of experiment it is damn stupid the people they ticket to fund the city come back angrier than ever. People just do not respond well to policing by murderous thugs or frivolous fines they do expect justice, the malicious prick who slaughtered that kid and the profoundly stupid Police Chief in charge of cover up are not worth it. After all isn't money the bottom line? Who really thinks a Balkanized America will be profitable?
