Made a bad choice at breakfast this morning [View all]

Actually, it was a "compromised" choice. I really wanted a white choco raspberry latte, so I did 4 oz of the latte and 4 oz of black coffee. I had a bit of sausage, egg, cheese, and a small handful of almonds. Sooo, 2 hours after eating, I tested my glucose - 211. Should have been down around 140 or less by then. I went into the ladies room and did something called hoe-downs - 2 sets - walked around our office for a couple of laps, did another 2 sets of hoe-downs and drank 20 oz. of water. 40 min. passed before I rechecked my numbers. Hoe-downs, like any activity are supposed to bring down numbers. In 40 min. I went from 211 to 141.

Awesome that it worked. I definitely won't be doing that latte mix again. It was good, but certainly not that good.

If you want to know what a hoe-down is, it's like this low-impact stepping exercise. Doesn't take very long (~3 min for 2 sets). If you google "hoe-downs", you should get a hit for youTube.

Now, home to a more balanced low-carb lunch
