I can't help but wonder about Mom's care [View all]

since none of us are allowed to visit, I wonder.

Here's a little back story.

For quite some time Mom was refusing to get washed and dressed, which she has the right to do. We had spoken to them about how they could encourage her to do so, but most often we would end up helping her wash and dress when we went for visits.

A few weeks ago, she fell in her room twice in one day. The staff decided at that point that they wanted Mom to spend her time in the day-room so that they could keep an eye on her. After that, miraculously, Mom was always washed and dressed when we showed up for visits. My guess is that when other visitors came to see their loved ones, the staff didn't want them seeing patients in the day-room that hadn't been dressed/washed.

But now, since visitation has been suspended.... what's going on with Mom?
