...since I now I have come to recognize that I was originally a Great Pumpkinist from early in my life:

I don't begrudge the new upstart Pastafarians in the least, I like the Pastafarian message and 8 "I really Rather You Didn't's", its just I think the Great Pumpkin was there for me first, as the first real alternative to the predominant paradigm...
