Most my computers are second or at this point third hand
i run a variant of *nix (linux/qnx/freebsd/openbsd/netbsd) on most of them
and old versions of windows xp pro or mac os x (ppc old..)
old computers aren't useless, they can do what they could when you bought them
so...resources for new tech...
let's see if good stuff can show up
my first one smaller computer stores (non big box) often have used computers for sale
