It's the world's largest real estate property marketing expo held yearly in Cannes, France. In March of 2000, 3 months after the Tsunami hit Phu Ket in Thailand and other areas, MIPIM had a presentation on investment opportunities in the new beach front hotels built over where thousands had died just 3 months earlier.
