I had some experience in college as a layout editor, substituted in as a secretary using a dictaphone, used optical character recognition software, and did a lot of desktop publishing in the 90s. When I worked for the state one of the attorneys that I interacted with was blind so I had to create and format documents that could be read using her scanner. I've also worked with a hearing impaired colleague so I realize the importance of providing quality presentations for review.

Sometimes it is just about going that extra step and from a personal viewpoint it is less stressful than receiving a request for a summary or transcript unexpectedly.
