5. Consider this: Trump attended and graduated from New York Military School.

He graduated in 1964 with the rank of captain, a high-ranking cadet officer position. During his time there, he rose through the ranks from private (1960), to corporal (1961), to supply sergeant (1962), and finally to captain of A Company in his senior year.

This was much more than a private school. The principles of duty and honor and service were inculcated in every class.

I don't care whether he or his father chose for him to avoid Vietnam. He didn't volunteer and he wasn't drafted. He attained a so-called deferment before he could be drafted.

Many of his classmates served and many died in Vietnam.

He had an advantage over teen-age boys who volunteered, over boys who couldn't afford college, over boys who just had the wrong draft number. And he understood (allegedly) the ethics of duty to the Country. (But then again, he went to Wharton and a professor deemed him the "worst student" he ever had.)

Since being President, he treated the military like a cadre of contractors working on one of his projects. He even accepted a Purple Heart from a wounded veteran and acted like *he* earned it.

As it is, The Pentagon is given a quandry of whether to follow The Constitution or TSF.

"Lost the Military"? If so, what took you so long?
