Trump had no specific goals for getting into the not-a-war, and no logic.

Therefore, he could stop the war with the same thinking.

The stumbling block for ending the conflict of course, is the deeply ingrained US thinking that Democracy is superior to autocratic Islamic governance.
Neither is perfect.

Maybe it is time for some less black & white, less good guy/bad guy thinking?
