1. Trump's Republican think tank is busy to make this not 'American boots on the ground'.

Random thoughts so far:

1. Military advisors, by the thousand, to protect Americans currently in the ME.
Suitably armed and backed up by billions of dollars worth of rocketry of course.

2. It will be a limited military operation, a quick in, regime change, a quick out - so it doesn't count.
Yep, just like Vietnam, Afghanistan.

3. Thinking outside the box - buy Chinese made boots, so it won't really be American boots on the ground.
