The people in charge are doing everything possible to weaken and undermine American power, and they could be wildly successful. But they could also fail spectacularly, and it’s up to us to convince people of that. We can’t keep thinking this man is irresistible, inevitable, or untouchable. He’s not even smart, and the choices he’s making are hurting all of us. We need a broad coalition to stand against what’s happening. Then we need to start imagining what our country could become if we changed our leadership.
