and knew folks who ran for school board. One younger guy who didn't win (because we are in red hell) is actually climbing his way up as he works on his masters. I got to know him and see the different activities he does. One way to search would be to see if you can find who went to the last state democratic convention - often that kind of thing will come up in Facebook searches. Some of those people were delegates for the state when the National Democratic Party Convention was held in July 2024. You'll find people in that kind of role who are on the move and might have advice/connections. Texas also has a lot of clubs "Texas Democratic Women", "Texas Young Democrats" etc.
