Look, I have probably had as much time to detest Reagan as most here, but heaven knows (as an aside) we'd be better off having a Reagan TODAY AS OUR OPPONENT than Trump. Even with his Alzheimer's, he was not as overtly and intentionally destructive and dangerous to democracy (and all of us) as the vengeful, demented Trump.
So, maybe I missed something, but I've never been one to extrapolate that broadly.
That said, if it is because Dylan is politically (seemingly) silent on Trump, I'll just say that the likes of Springsteen and Neil Young will always be the examples I respect on that score. Those in that prior activist category who remain silent (unless health has robbed them of the ability to stand up at least verbally) are cowards.
