Men do the killing, fighting, torturing, destroying.

Women keep the home fires burning, take care of the children.
Keep body and soul together.
Hold the family and town together.
Take care of those injured and damaged by the men.

Women do it all with sheer will, determination, sacrifice.
Never get so much as a thank you.
