84. It's made me wonder if it's worth asking

are "progressive" purists really part of the Democratic fold. I think to this point we've only expected them to be, only to be disappointed by them in November. And two of the words that occur to me when I think of those types are spiteful and childish.

When one's family and close ones are under military siege people have a right to be angry and emotional. When Palestinian voters first declared they would withhold support from Biden in 2024, there were many here who called them names and suggested when trump won they'd "get what they deserved." I defended Palestinian anger in the moment knowing that at least some were acting out of fresh emotion, but would come around. Of course my empathy does not go as far to those who stuck to their pledge to get trump elected and are carrying out this nonsense.
