The shooting at Kent State was at first "justified" by the authorities in place at that time. However, eye witnesses of the shooting made it clear that it was not only unjustified, but it was also cold blooded "punishment" for those killed. That one incident turned much of America into supporting the anti-war factions.
I suspect the shooting in Minneapolis on Wednesday will harden the anti-ICE stance many of us have and allow many to join our ranks!
