We'll never know what Kamala would have done, since she lost. Biden we know didn't do like Trump 2.0, just continued on from Trump 1.0.
I expect politicians to do what they see as needed to get elected. The MAGAt media verse has stoked up xenophobia to a fever pitch. The blues don't have any discernible or specific immigration policy, which leaves individuals to do pretty much anything. You can't be expelled for violating party guidelines when there aren't any, not that the blues expel anyone for much of anything short of felonies, and even then. That leaves a vast array of possibilities open to the eager opportunist to come along.
I'm old enough to remember a whole wing of segregationist Democrats, who were at least as despicable as Trump. It's what got them elected, whether they really believed it or not.

It was not on them to stop Trump. That was on the SC, the courts, the Repiglicans and judges

Sounds like punishing Democrats by making them lose an election is some sort of weird revenge fantasy.

that certainly takes a lot of responsibility off all the Democrats who supported the Laken Riley act

Anyone feeling touchy and defensive by this... Please don't do it again. Democrats aren't the enemy. Don't fall for it.

Rule: Democratic supporters on a forum for supporters of Democrats are the divisive ones. ("Posse" is the new "swarm.")

We know the tactics that "pukes," Russians, etc. have used to divide us and it ain't by wholeheartedly supporting Dems.
