43. I have no opinion as to whether the assassination attempt was staged or not.

I can understand why people think it was, but I haven't looked into the evidence on either side closely enough to decide whether it was. However, I definitely believe him to to be capable of such a thing, as I believe him to be capable of doing just about anything to save his own sorry ass. He would throw absolutely anyone or anything under the bus to save himself, no question.

As I have said many times before, other humans beings are not real to him the way they are to the rest of us. Other people matter to him only insofar as they are useful to him, whether that be to carry out his orders, to perform tasks that he thinks are beneath him, to protect him (i.e., the Secret Service), to provide him with ego boosts and other types of gratification (emotional, sexual, etc.), to provide opportunities for him to increase his wealth, or whatever it is he requires from them. In other words, his valuation of any person is based on what he thinks they can do for him. As soon as someone stops providing what he wants or (God forbid) voices disagreement with or criticism of him, he is through with them, finished, done, kaput, and he will throw them under the nearest bus without a moment's thought.

Granted, some people seem to get away with more than others before being consigned to the trash heap by Trump, but I don't think anyone is invulnerable. Some are more skilled than others at figuring how out to stay in his good graces, but I'm sure the smarter ones know that they too could fall out of favor at any time and do their best to avoid crossing any line that would cause that to happen, wherever that line may be.
