8. The reason it hasn't been done in the past is

due to the fact that it would not be successful at the time and in this country.

I keep track of this stuff as an activist. I support national boycotts and strikes but I see things realistically. Planning, timing, etc is extremely important. You have to have 90%- support for it to even begin to be seen as a possible success that would lead to disruptions in the overall governing in the USA under tRump.

There are many factors involved. Until recently half of the USA supported tRump. The USA is HUGE, unlike other countries where national strikes have been successful the USA isn't in the same league. Also, the economy is a factor. More Americans are facing new affordability issues that they didn't expect. This could be a plus for a May 1st strike/boycott. The general popularity of tRump is very low, affordability is very high and the No Kings protests, along with recent local elections, has shown that this could be the right time for a national strike to be a success. I hope so!!!!!
